Leap Technologies acquires Lab Connections

On March 1st 2006, Leap Technologies of Carrboro, NC acquired Lab Connections from Mocon, Corp. Many of the Lab Connections staff have transferred to Leap Technologies and will continue to provide the excellent sales and service support that you have come to rely on.

Leap Technologies is a world leader in automated sample preparation for analytical instrumentation. Leap has every intention of investing in the Lab Connections technology and will continue to provide unique and innovative solutions to sample preparation challenges.

New Raman Capability

Lab Connections and Tienta Sciences have collaborated to produce a new collection substrate for Raman spectroscopy called the Spect-LC This inert, polished stainless steel plate provides low background and is ideally suited to micro-Raman spectroscopy.

The same plate/deposits can then be used for FTIR spectral collection and direct comparison of Raman and FTIR data.
