Our Capabilities

Deformulation Product Deformulation consists of separating the product into it's constituent parts and then identifying each one.
Composition Separation by GPC followed by semi-quantitative FTIR analysis is the fastest way to determine the variation in composition of polymer blends and how they affect product performance.
   
Branching We determine how the branching in short chain polymers varies with the molecular weight of the polymer oligomers in relation to the physical performance of the polymer.
   
Additives A combination of GPC separation followed by  reverse phase HPLC allows us to unambiguously identify the additives by FTIR.
   
Characterization We use a combination of GPC and MALDI-MS to provide accurate molecular weight and poly-dispersity information.
   
Impurity Profiles With the advent of the LC-Transform, FTIR is now sensitive enough to not only detect the presence of impurities at the 0.1% level and below, but also accurately identify them and their toxicity level.
